Two churches, one hotel, seventeen people
St Mary Abchurch and St Clement Eastcheap are both still standing here. St Michael Crooked Lane is not; it came down in 1831 to make room for the new London Bridge approach. Otherwise the ward is shops, pubs, offices and a hotel, and the residential part of it would fit in a single bus.
Do you work around office hours?
We are out seven days. Evening and weekend slots exist because most people in EC4N are at a desk on a Tuesday afternoon.
Is the oven safe to use after?
We heat-test it and sign it off before we leave. Nothing caustic is used inside the flat.
What if the landlord is booking and I am the tenant?
Common here. We just need someone to let us in and we deal with whoever is paying separately.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
