Camden Road station's building dates from 1870: three storeys of yellow stock brick with stone dressings, designed by E. H. Horne for the railway and listed Grade II in 1999.
Camden Road itself was laid out in the 1820s and runs about 2.6km from Camden Town station up to Holloway Road. Two parking zones meet at Camden Road station
This stretch sits on the line between two of Camden's parking zones. On the council's zone data, updated in September 2025, Bonny Street and the station side of Camden Road are in CA-F(n), controlled from 8.30am to 11pm on weekdays and 9.30am to 11pm at weekends. Royal College Street by the station is in CA-G/F, controlled from 8.30am to 6.30pm on weekdays with no weekend hours listed. A few metres can change whether a Saturday booking falls inside controlled hours, so tell us the house number as well as the street. Camden's visitor permits are for residents' own guests; tradespeople working at the house use the separate trade permit scheme.
