The Regent's Canal is the northern edge of Cambridge Heath, and the far bank is Hackney. The streets south of the water, from Vyner Street to the station, are in Tower Hamlets: St Peter's ward at the 2021 Census, renamed Bethnal Green West in 2022 on the same boundaries.

Tower Hamlets made the canal a conservation area in October 2008 and took in a few streets that back onto it. Parking either side of Cambridge Heath Road
Cambridge Heath Road divides two of the council's parking sub-zones. To the west, Coate Street and Emma Street are in A3, controlled Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. To the east, Vyner Street and Wadeson Street are in A4, controlled Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm, according to Tower Hamlets' zone hours. Over the canal bridge the road becomes Mare Street and the council becomes Hackney, which runs its own zones. On any of these streets the team needs somewhere to park.

Tower Hamlets. The canal behind it is the boundary, so the streets on the far bank towards Broadway Market are Hackney, and so is the north side of Hackney Road west of the junction, in Haggerston. The price is the same on both sides.
Which day is easiest for parking on Vyner Street?
Usually a weekend. Zone A4's controlled hours are Monday to Friday, and a Saturday or Sunday visit costs the weekday price.
