Oven cleaning on The Burroughs and around Hendon, NW4, from the Georgian houses to the student lets near the campus. Single ovens from £77.
The road was called the burrows from 1316 until the nineteenth century, after the rabbit warrens that once covered it, and it stayed a hamlet until the 1890s. Then the civic buildings landed on it in a row: the Town Hall, opened on 13 November 1901 to Thomas Henry Watson's pre-Renaissance design and Grade II listed since April 1983, the fire station in 1914, the library in 1929. Margaret Thatcher gave her first speech as prime minister in that Town Hall in May 1979.
Two kinds of kitchen sit on one road
A number of eighteenth and nineteenth century houses survive here, several of them close to where The Burroughs meets Watford Way, and the ones still in single family use tend to have the kitchen knocked into the back return with a proper cooker in it. That is where the double oven at £110 and the 90cm range at £114 turn up. The rest of the stock has been divided. Period houses cut into flats, purpose-built blocks behind them, and a lot of it let, so the same street will give you a slim built-under single at £77 in one door and a range in the next. We work out which on the phone from your description.
Middlesex University sets the diary more than the calendar does
The Hendon campus is on The Burroughs itself, at NW4 4BT, and the walk between it and Hendon Central is one of the busiest student routes in the borough. Campus parking is for staff and pre-arranged visitors only, and the streets round about fall under Barnet's HC2 controlled parking zone, so the van sorts its own bay. What that student population really means for us is turnover. Checkout dates cluster, landlords want the oven signed off, and we work seven days because a tenancy rarely ends on a Tuesday morning.

Five of us share the house and the oven is in a state. Is it still £77?
If it is a single oven, yes. The price is for the appliance, not the amount of carbon on it.
Will you make a mess in a listed or period property?
No. The dirty end of the job happens in the tank in the van. Indoors it is hand work with non-caustic products and dust sheets down.
Does the microwave go in the tank too?
The turntable and any removable parts do. The microwave itself is £22 and is done by hand.

What customers tell us
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
