Most of our new Brent Cross work is the flats going up at Brent Cross Town on the NW2 side, off Claremont Road near the Brent Cross West station that opened in 2023, and these are studios and one to three-bed apartments with integrated single ovens behind a matching door, so that one oven type now accounts for a large slice of the local diary. Integrated is fine for the tank method, since the racks and trays still lift straight out.
The two sides of Brent Cross
The old Whitefield Estate towers off the North Circular are being cleared and those residents rehoused into the new blocks on Brent Terrace, so a lot of the ovens here are barely a year or two old. Over the NW4 side towards Hendon, past the shopping centre that opened in 1976, the stock is older, with semis and terraces on the roads up from Prince Charles Drive and Templehof Avenue.
How the clean is done
The racks, shelves, trays and side runners come out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass we degrease by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so there is no chemical smell after, and the oven is heat-tested before we sign it off. A single takes about ninety minutes. In the newer apartments the common booking is a single oven clean with the hob done at the same time.
Parking around the interchange
Parking is a real operational fact here. The North Circular and the roads feeding the interchange are red routes where you cannot stop, so the van comes off them onto the side streets or a resident's bay before the racks carry in. There is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Where does the van park near the shopping centre?
Not on the red routes by the interchange. We come off onto the side roads or use the block's loading bay, then carry the racks in.
Do you cover both the NW2 and NW4 sides?
Both. The whole area sits inside the North and South Circular, so there is no call-out fee either side.
