Bow Church stands on an island in the middle of Bow Road, the A11 running past either side of it, licensed as a chapel of ease on 17 November 1311. It is Grade II* listed, Kentish Ragstone, 15th-century tower. The DLR station borrows the name and sits between Devons Road and Pudding Mill Lane. The area is a church and a station. The kitchens are either side of the road, plus whatever the Olympics left in E20.
A match factory, terraces, and the Olympic build
Bow Quarter on Fairfield Road was the Bryant and May match factory, where the matchgirls struck in 1888. It shut in 1979, and Kentish Homes turned it into 733 one- and two-bed flats and penthouses over 7 acres in 1988, the Grade II listed factory block at the centre. Conversions like that run compact kitchens. One oven is the usual find. E20 is the far end of the range. East Village holds 2,818 homes across plots N01 to N26, built as the 2012 athletes' village, about half privately rented through Get Living and 1,379 owned by Triathlon Homes, and Chobham Manor added 859 more, three-quarters of them family houses with three bedrooms or more. New-build kitchens there arrive as a run: integrated oven, hob, hood. A hob is £23–28 alongside the oven.
Zone B, and a road that is not a parking space
Bow falls in Tower Hamlets zone B, with mini-zones B1, B2 and B3. Bow Road is the A11, running to Aldgate one way and Stratford the other, so the side streets do the work. E3 is inside the North and South Circular, so no call-out fee. The van is ULEZ compliant.

What gets asked in Bow
I am moving out of an East Village flat. Is this enough for the inventory check?
It is the job it is built for. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners soak in the tank, and the door glass is split where the design allows, which is the first place a clerk looks.
Is E20 charged differently from E3?
No. Same list, quoted on the phone before we come. No premium for a newer postcode, no call-out fee.
The oven, hob and hood are all one unit. Can they be done together?
Yes, and it is the common booking in a new-build. Oven from £77, hob £23–28, hood £28. The hob and hood are hand work; only removable oven parts go to the tank.
Will the flat smell afterwards?
It should not. Nothing caustic is used indoors, and the oven is heat-tested before sign-off.
