Most of our Borough work sits in two kinds of kitchen: the converted warehouses over towards Shad Thames and Clink Street, and the newer flats going up along Long Lane near Borough tube. The old wharf buildings, places like Clink Wharf, tend to hold freestanding range cookers in tall galley kitchens. The new-builds run to a single integrated oven tucked under a hob, which is a quicker job.
The parking is the honest problem here. Streets off Bermondsey Street and around Borough High Street sit inside a Southwark controlled parking zone that runs 8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday, so we work out where the van goes before we knock. Racks and shelves come out to the tank in the van. The cavity, the fan cover and the door glass we clean by hand indoors, with non-caustic products, so there is no fumes-in-the-flat smell when we leave.

Yes. Those kitchens often have a taller freestanding cooker with two cavities, so we usually quote the double at £110. If it is a wide range model we quote £114.
How long does a single oven take?
About ninety minutes. A double is nearer two hours. We heat-test the oven before we sign it off and leave.
Can you fit an end-of-tenancy clean around a check-out date?
We work seven days, so a Saturday or a same-week slot is usually fine. Book by the date the agent needs it back and we will hold to that.
Is there a smell afterwards in a small flat?
No. The caustic soaking happens in the tank in the van. Indoors we use non-caustic products by hand, which matters in a one-bed where the kitchen opens onto the living space.
