Bedford Square was built between 1775 and 1783 on the Duke of Bedford's land, under agreements between his trustees and the builders William Scott and Robert Grews. Nearly all its houses are listed at Grade I, and most are now offices. The flats are round the corner.

Bedford Square, Bedford Avenue, Bloomsbury Street and the west end of Great Russell Street are in Camden's zone CA-C. There, single yellow lines and paid bays are controlled from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and not on Sunday, but resident and permit-holder bays are controlled 24 hours a day, every day. Gower Street, to the north, is in CA-E, where bays and yellow lines are controlled from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday and not on Sunday. Both Gower Street and Bloomsbury Street have run two-way since 28 February 2021, with segregated cycle lanes and timed loading bays built in. Said after the sign-off
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Once again a great job guys, I will see you in a couple of months.
