Flats, mostly, and conversions
Most Belsize Park kitchens we clean sit inside converted Victorian houses or the Edwardian mansion blocks, rather than the big whole houses you get further up in Hampstead. The white stucco terraces on Belsize Park Gardens and around Belsize Square were long ago split into flats, and the mansion blocks on Belsize Avenue and Lancaster Grove came with communal gardens and high ceilings but often modest galley kitchens. That usually means a single integrated oven, sometimes a freestanding cooker, tucked into a tight run of units.
The method
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned by hand indoors with non-caustic products, which matters in a small flat where you do not want a chemical smell sitting in the room. Where the door splits, we clean between the panes of glass. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave. Reckon on about ninety minutes for a single, two hours for a double.
Parking and access
Belsize Park is a controlled parking zone, so we sort a permit or a bay before the visit, and the London-wide ULEZ has covered NW3 since 2023 with vans that meet it. Haverstock Hill and England's Lane get busy, and a lot of the side streets are permit-only in the daytime. Because the tank stays on board, we do not need a space right outside your block; a bay within a short carry is fine.

Common questions
My flat is up several flights with no lift. Is that a problem?
No. We carry the lift-out parts down to the van and clean the cavity in place, so there is very little to bring up and down.
Will there be a smell in a small flat afterwards?
No. The indoor cleaning uses non-caustic products, so there is no lingering chemical smell.
Do you clean the extractor as well?
Yes, an extractor hood is £28 on the same visit as the oven.
Is there a Belsize Park surcharge?
No. A single oven is £77 here, the same as everywhere we cover.
