A freestanding single is the job we take most here, and it cleans the same way whether it is a 1930s cottage off Valence Avenue or a maisonette near the Civic Centre. The racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank down in the van, while the cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned indoors by hand with non-caustic products, so there is no smell left to air out afterwards. A single takes about ninety minutes. The art-deco Civic Centre on Wood Lane, Ernest Berry Webber's Grade II town hall, is the landmark most people give us for directions.

Parking on the estate roads
Parking is easier here than in most of London, because the estate was laid out wide with front gardens and verges. Barking and Dagenham has been rolling controlled parking zones across the Becontree and Heathway roads, so a few streets now run permit hours by day and we may need to drop the tank near the door first. Tell us the road when you book. Becontree Heath sits inside the London-wide ULEZ, and our vans meet the standard.
Do you clean the integrated ovens in the Wood Lane flats?
Yes. Most are a single integrated oven, the £77 clean. Tell us the floor and whether the lift is running when you book.
Is the oven usable straight after?
Yes. We heat-test it and sign it off before leaving, and the non-caustic products mean there is nothing to air out first.
Do you do end-of-tenancy ovens for the council houses?
We do. Outgoing tenants and letting agents book them between lets, and we sign the oven off for the inventory.
Can you add the hob and extractor?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 and an extractor hood is £28, added to whichever oven price applies.
