Professional oven cleaning in Angel, N1 and EC1, around Upper Street and Chapel Market, using the in-van dip-tank method. A single oven starts at £77.

Angel is mostly flats, and that shapes the work. The Georgian terraces on Duncan Terrace, Colebrooke Row and Gibson Square were split into conversions long ago, so the kitchen is often a back room with a freestanding cooker or a slim range squeezed in. The new blocks up towards 250 City Road are the opposite: integrated single ovens under a worktop. Two different jobs. One method.

Period conversions and new-build flats

A flat carved out of an 1840s townhouse on Cross Street or Compton Terrace tends to have a lower-ground kitchen and a cooker that has seen a few tenancies, and getting the racks out to the van without marking a narrow communal stair is half the skill. The dip-tank method needs those parts out anyway. In the City Road towers the oven is smaller and built in, but the principle holds: racks, shelves and trays lift out to the heated tank in the van, and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are hand-degreased with non-caustic products, so nothing acrid lingers indoors.

A heavy rental patch off Upper Street

Angel turns tenants over quickly. Young professionals take flats for the Northern line and the Upper Street bars, and the agents along that street, Dexters, Foxtons and Winkworth among them, move places on fast. The oven is the inventory line that most often bites into a deposit. If you are moving out, book the end-of-tenancy oven clean at its fixed price before your inventory date, and we leave a receipt for the check-out.

Parking around Chapel Market

Every street here is controlled, so a bay near the job is never a given. Around Chapel Market, trading off Liverpool Road for over 150 years, and along the Camden Passage lanes, the kerb is a mix of market loading and short residents bays, and a van cannot always sit outside the door. That is why the tank travels with us: parts carry to wherever we park and back. The van is ULEZ-compliant. A word on the nearest bay when you book saves a slow lap of the block.

Common questions

The kitchen is in a converted Georgian flat with a narrow stair. Is that a problem?

No, it is the usual thing here. The racks come out to the van tank and back, and we take care on communal stairs. The phone price still holds.

Do you cover the EC1 side as well as N1?

Yes, from Angel and Chapel Market down through Clerkenwell to the Old Street edge. Seven days a week.

Will the flat smell of chemicals afterwards?

No. The indoor work is non-caustic, so there is no chemical smell once the oven is back together and heat-tested.

What customers tell us

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.

JoanaTW13

Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.

Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
