Most of our work here is on the Lansbury Estate, the council blocks north of East India Dock Road that went up around Chrisp Street Market for the 1951 Festival of Britain. All Saints on the DLR sits opposite that market and takes its name from the 1820s parish church behind it. Two kinds of oven turn up on the same street. In the older Lansbury and Aberfeldy flats it is a freestanding four-ring cooker that has been in place a long while, with baked-on fat on the door glass and a grease-caked fan cover. In the newer towers off Poplar High Street it is a slim integrated single oven, the £77 job. Whichever it is, the racks, shelves and trays lift out and go into the heated tank in the van, then the cavity and door glass are cleaned by hand with nothing caustic, so a small kitchen holds no smell after. A single takes about ninety minutes.
Rental churn drives a chunk of the diary. Flats let around Chrisp Street and Bartlett Park see tenants come and go, and the inventory clerk wants the oven signed off between them. We heat-test every oven before we leave.
What it costs
Prices are fixed and quoted on the phone. There is no premium-area surcharge and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular. A single oven covers most flats here, and our single oven clean is what we book most in E14.

Parking on the day
Poplar sits in Tower Hamlets Zone B, which runs Monday to Friday, so tell us when you book whether there is a bay near the block, because the tank and kit ferry from the van and a long carry up to a fourth-floor flat eats into the time. Poplar is inside the ULEZ, and our vans meet the standard.

Is the oven usable straight after?
Yes. We heat-test it and sign it off before leaving, and because the products are non-caustic there is nothing to air out first.
Can you do the hob and extractor in the same visit?
Yes. A hob is £23–28 and an extractor hood is £28, added to whichever oven price applies.
Do you cover end-of-tenancy cleans on the Lansbury flats?
We do. Landlords and agents around Chrisp Street book them between tenants, and we sign the oven off for the inventory.
